U17 Vietnam women's team is gathering in Thu Dau Mot ward (HCMC). This is the team's final preparation stage before entering the 2026 U17 Asian qualifiers.
On behalf of the coaching staff, coach Okiyama Masahiko reported on the team's training process in the past time. He said that the players have made efforts to maintain their form and fitness, although there have been some cases of mild pain, but their health is currently stable.
On October 8, the team had a final friendly match to review the force and perfect the strategy before officially entering the tournament.

At the meeting, General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu conveyed his condolences and encouragement from VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan and the Standing Committee of the Federation Executive Committee to the entire team.
He wished the young players to compete confidently, achieve good results and qualify for the 2026 U17 Asian Cup finals, thereby becoming the 5th team of Vietnamese football to participate in the continental playground.
Mr. Nguyen Van Phu expressed his hope that the current generation of U17 players will be the foundation for the future of Vietnamese women's football.
According to the match schedule, the Vietnam U17 women's team will meet Guam on October 13 and Hong Kong (China) on October 17. Both matches will take place at 4:00 p.m. at Binh Duong Stadium (Thu Dau Mot Ward).
