Before the start of the second phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, the camera system of Video Challenge Eyes was installed at the Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium.
The professional department of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation carried out this installation. In addition, referee training is conducted.
Video Challenge Eyes are installed to help referees officiate matches. In each set of each match, the teams have 2 rights to complain about controversial situations.
According to the investigation, the Organizing Committee has completed the assignment of referees to perform duties in phase 2 of the 2025 National Championship. Each match has 2 linesmen on duty along with the main referees.
16 teams (8 men's, 8 women's) will compete at Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium from October 7 to October 16. Each team has 2 more matches in the group stage of phase 2, then will compete for a place in the final round or have to participate in the relegation ticket competition.
The technical department of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will operate a Video Challenge Eyes trial before the tournament starts. In the first phase, which took place in Dong Anh (Hanoi), the Video Challenge Eyes system was installed to support the main referees but there were still some controversial situations because the camera angle was not close to the ball's touch point on the field.
