On the morning of October 5, at the opening session of the first Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, the Politburo's decision to appoint the new Provincial Party Executive Committee was announced.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, will continue to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was born on January 21, 1974 in Thieu Duong commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province (old), Mr. Le Ngoc Quang has a high level of political theory and a bachelor's degree in Journalism.
Before November 2019, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was the Head of the News Department at Vietnam Television.
He was then appointed as Permanent Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television from November 11, 2019.
During this time, he also held important positions such as Member of the National Traffic Safety Committee and member of the National Committee for AIDS Prevention and Control and Control of Vice, Drugs, and prostitution.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quang will be Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Television for the 2020 - 2025 term in August 2020.
At the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, he was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee.
On March 22, 2021, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang held the position of General Director of Vietnam Television.
By October 31, 2024, the Politburo had decided to transfer and assign him to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
On July 1, 2025, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was appointed by the Central Government as Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee after the merger of Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces.
