According to Lao Dong's investigation, the ASIAD 20 Organizing Committee of host Japan will organize a flag raising ceremony for sports delegations participating in the Games.
In which, the flag-raising ceremony for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation takes place at 10 am, local time, September 18.
The Vietnamese sports delegation participates in ASIAD 20 with 498 members (including 349 athletes).
The national sports teams were notified of their accommodation by the ASIAD 20 Organizing Committee after the Conference confirmed the ASIAD 20 ended.
According to the schedule, the Head of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation - Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh - along with officials and main members of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation will go to Japan on the evening of September 15.
It is expected that the leaders of the Vietnamese sports sector will see off the delegation at Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) at that time.
ASIAD 20 is officially held from September 19 to October 4 in Aichi-Nagoya (Japan). The entire Congress has 43 official sports (71 sub-sports) including:
Aquatic sports (swimming, artistic swimming, diving, water polo), archery, athletics, badminton, baseball, handball, basketball, boxing, breaking, canoeing, combat martial arts (jujitsu, kurash, MMA), cricket (T20), cycling, horse racing art, e-sports, fencing, football, golf, gymnastics, handball, hockey, judo, kabaddi, karate, 5 modern sports – pentathlon, rowing, rugby (7 people), sailing, sepak takraw, shooting, skateboarding, mountain climbing sports, squash, surfing, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling, wushu, padel, teqball.
In which, teqball, padel, MMA are for the first time included in the official program at ASIAD 20.
The achievement target of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at ASIAD 20 announced by Head Nguyen Hong Minh at the Launching Ceremony held on September 9 is to strive to win 4 or more gold medals.
