Le Tien Anh wins double championship at U14 Asian Tennis Tournament

Tennis player Le Tien Anh has excellently won the men's singles and men's doubles championships at the 2025 ATF U14 Becamex IDC Cup Asian Tennis Tournament.

The tournament took place in Binh Duong from March 24-28. In the men's singles event, the No. 1 seed Le Tien Anh defeated tennis player Le Nam Du with a score of 7-6, 6-3. In the men's doubles event, the young tennis player duo Le Tien Anh and Nguyen Ngoc Huu excellently won the final against 2 tennis players Le Phu Gia - Dinh Tien Dung with a score of 1-6, 6-3, 7-6.

Le Tien Anh, a potential young tennis player, is currently ranked 5th in the world at the U14 age group. With a powerful free kick and a strong attacking style, Tien Anh is expected to become a professional tennis player and a pillar of the Vietnam tennis team in the future.

In the women's doubles event, young Japanese women's tennis player Angelina Shaw won against American women's tennis player Sahej Lakhat with a score of 7-6, 6-1. Meanwhile, Sahej Lakhat (USA) and Angelina Shaw (Japan) defeated the pair of tennis players Kim sebon (Korea) and Chu Haelyn of Hong Kong (China) with a score of 6-2, 6-1, to win the women's doubles event.

The 2025 ATF U14 Becamex IDC Cup Asian Tennis Tournament is organized by the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF), the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province in coordination with Binh Duong Sports and Business Joint Stock Company, Becamex IDC Industrial Investment and Development Corporation.

The tournament attracted 60 young talents from 13 countries and territories such as Singapore, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, India... Tennis players competed in 4 events: Men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles.

At the end of this first tournament, the players will compete in the second tournament in Binh Duong from March 31 to April 6.

In addition to these two tournaments, VTF will also coordinate with relevant units to organize 2 ITF U18 J30 International Tennis Tournaments from April 14 to 27 and 2 ATF U14 Becamex IDC Cup 2024 Asian Tennis Tournaments from June 9-25. The venue is also in Binh Duong.
