The U21 Vietnam women's volleyball team will participate in the 2025 U21 World Championship from August 7 to August 17 in Indonesia. This is the first time the Vietnamese youth team has participated in a world-class tournament.
According to the draw results, in this tournament, the U21 Vietnam women's volleyball team is in the same group with the teams U21 Indonesia, U21 Argentina, U21 Serbia, U21 Puerto Rico and U21 Canada.
Regarding the force, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet selected 12 athletes, including main attackers Pham Quynh Huong, Dang Thi Hong, Nguyen Lan Vy, Bui Thi Anh Thao; middle attackers: Nguyen Phuong Quynh, Le Nhu Anh, Le Thuy Linh; opposite set Ngo Thi Bich Hue, Pham Thuy Linh; setter Lai Thi Khanh Huyen, Nguyen Van Ha and libero Ha Kieu Vy.
Most of them are names that competed in the VTV Cup 2025 international women's volleyball tournament. Only the case of setter Van Ha, although not competing in the VTV Cup 2025, with her potential, the female player of Kinh Bac Bac Ninh is still chosen.
Meanwhile, names like Dang Thi Hong, Quynh Huong, Phuong Quynh, Anh Thao... are still the expected pillars of the team.
