Coleen's "banning" of her husband began when R10 gambled at a Manchester casino and lost up to £500,000. Although Rooney would be paid up to £1 million a week if he went to China, this made Coleen more worried than ever.
Currently at Manchester United, Rooney is paid £300,000/week. But on March 16, after the win over Rostov in the Europa League, R10 "burned" a lot of money into the red-handed game at the cassava in Manchester. On average, every minute at the casino, "Ga Sherk" flew out of his wallet about 4,000 pounds.
What Coleen is worried about is true because if he goes to China with a higher level of experience, Rooney may increasingly commit to the path of gambling, and how it will consequences that no one can predict.
In addition to gambling, Coleen also wants to keep her husband in England because of Rooney's bad moon routine. Remember in the long-term love story of Rooney and his wife, this striker has been involved in scandals with girlfriends or supermodels many times. Therefore, leaving her husband at home to manage easily was Coleen's choice.
However, despite her husband's ban on going to China, Coleen has not given Rooney any suggestions on continuing to play football in England as no club is now interested in this striker. Therefore, it is likely that Rooney will leave the UK this summer, possibly not China but some country in Europe.
However, if it were not China but another country besides the UK, Coleen's worries would not have been resolved.
