The Organizing Committee of the National Chess Games X-2026 officially issued the Competition Regulations.
According to the development program, chess will have 20 events to be held.
The contents include: Standard men's chess individual; Standard women's chess individual; Fast men's chess individual; Fast women's chess individual; Light men's chess individual; Fast women's chess individual; Fast chess mixed doubles; Light men's and women's chess mixed doubles; Super light men's and women's chess mixed doubles;
Asean Standard Chess Men's Team; Asean Standard Chess Women's Team; Asean Rapid Chess Women's Team;
Standard Chess Men's Doubles; Standard Chess Women's Doubles; Fast Chess Men's Doubles; Fast Chess Women's Doubles; Lightning Chess Men's Doubles; Lightning Chess Women's Doubles; Super Lightning Chess Men's Doubles; Super Lightning Chess Women's Doubles.
Chess is played at the competition point in Vung Tau ward (Ho Chi Minh City) from November 30 to December 11. Teams participating in chess will have the deadline for registering chess players with the Organizing Committee on September 1.
In addition to chess, the X-2026 National Sports Festival also organizes Chinese chess and Go. The Go competition program (4 events) will take place from December 3 to December 10.
Chess has 10 events (Standard men's individual chess; Standard women's individual chess; Fast chess mixed doubles; Traditional fast chess men's team; Traditional chess men's team; Traditional women's team; Standard men's doubles; Standard women's doubles; Fast chess men's doubles; Fast chess women's doubles) competing from November 20 to November 29.
The chess competition venue for the X-2026 National Sports Festival is also in Vung Tau ward (Ho Chi Minh City).
