The 2025 World Youth muay Championship ended in the UAE on September 19, recording Vietnamese fighters winning 4 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 6 bronze medals.
Representative of the muay Vietnam Team at the tournament - Ms. Tu Thi Le Na shared: "Vietnamese athletes competed with the highest effort to win medals. We highly appreciate the achievements that young fighters have achieved.
The 4 gold medals of Vietnamese muay fighters come from the results of Bui Ngoc Huyen (60kg women, 11-13 years old), Bang The Minh (wai kru, 14-15 years old), Dinh Van Duc Anh/Mai Tuan Huy (mai muay, 14-15 years old) and Ha Bao Ngoc/Me Thi Van (mai muay, 14-15 years old).
In addition, the silver medal achievements of the fighters Tran Huynh An Nhien (44kg men, wai kru 10-11 years old), Dang Van Phong (wai kru, 16-17 years old), Me Thi Van (38kg women, 14-15 years old), Bang The Minh (45kg men, 14-15 years old), Ha Bao Ngoc (40kg men, 14-15 years old), Pham Tan Vang (91kg men, 16-17 years old) and Vu Ngoc Trang/ Dinh Quynh Nga (mai muay, 16-17 years old).
A representative of the Vietnam Youth muay Team said that the tournament gathered more than 100 countries and territories to participate.
The Vietnamese young martial arts force is a group of faces with good expertise. Before participating in the 2025 World Youth Championship, many martial artists competed in the 2025 Southeast Asian Youth Championship in Malaysia.
