Athletes participating in the 2025 National muay Championship in Thai Nguyen will have a temporary holiday on National Day on September 2. On September 3, all will return to professional competition.
The organizing committee said that allowing coaches and athletes of the teams to take a day off for the National Day holiday on September 2 helps each person feel relaxed and confident before returning to compete.
This year's tournament brings together many muay fighters from all over the country to compete in events for men and women. The muay Vietnam team allowed all national players to return to their home team to compete in the tournament. Achievements in national tournaments will be one of the bases for the coaching staff to select fighters to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.
Thai Nguyen Provincial Gymnasium hosted the 2025 Asian muay Championship in June. Therefore, the organization of the 2025 National Championship is carried out in accordance with professional requirements. The fighters will continue to compete after the holiday, from September 3 to September 7.
186 shooters from 12 units participated in the 2025 National Outstanding Shooter Competition in Hanoi. The organizing committee said that the contents of the competition will not be on National Day 2.9 so that the coaches and athletes of the teams can take a holiday according to regulations. The tournament returned to competition on September 3 and closed on September 6. Shooters Pham Quang Huy and Trinh Thu Vinh, who have just participated in the 2025 Asian Championship, have returned to Vietnam to compete in this tournament.
