Nam Dinh Steel Club will not have the service of defender Nguyen Van Vi in round 16 of V.League 2024-2025.

On the evening of March 5, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company announced the players "suspended" in round 16 of V.League 2024-2025, including: Nguyen Huu Thang (The Cong Viettel), Jason Quang Vinh (Hanoi Police), Nguyen Van Vi (Nam Dinh Steel Blue), Jairo Filho (Hoang Anh Gia Lai) and Bicou Bissainthe (Hai Phong).

Among them, Nguyen Huu Thang, Jason Quang Vinh, Nguyen Van Vi were banned from playing because they had received all 3 yellow cards, while Jairo and Bicoi were out due to receiving red cards in the previous rounds.

The absence of Jason Quang Vinh and Nguyen Van Vi will certainly affect the match between Hanoi Police and Nam Dinh Steel Blue, because both are key faces, making important contributions to their team this season.

Nguyen Van Vi has scored 3 goals and had 3 assists after 25 appearances since the beginning of the season. Jason Quang Vinh has participated in all 21 matches of Hanoi Police in all competitions and has 1 assist. This player plays an important role at left-back in coach Mano Polking's tactics.

Round 16 of V.League 2024-2025 will take place over 3 days, March 7, 8 and 9. The highlight of this round is the match affecting the championship race between Hanoi Police and Nam Dinh Steel Blue taking place at 7:15 p.m. on March 8 at Hang Day Stadium.
