On the afternoon of March 6, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province confirmed that the Department had agreed on the resignation of Mr. Nguyen Minh Dat - Director of the Provincial Sports Technical Training Center (Center) and Ms. Hoang Thi Hang Nga - Deputy Director in charge of the Center's expertise.
Currently, the Department is carrying out procedures to submit to competent authorities for consideration and decision on the resignation of the two above officials.

Mr. Dat and Ms. Nga previously received a warning from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (now the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) regarding a series of violations in managing youth teams.
Before writing the resignation letter, Mr. Dat and Ms. Nga themselves were aware of the shortcomings in state management at the Center.
To ensure operations at the Provincial Sports Technical Training Center, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province has assigned Mr. Dang Quoc Van - Deputy Director of the Department to directly manage this Center.
Previously, at the end of 2024, the Inspectorate of the Department of Culture and Sports transferred the case to the police to investigate the case of HVL U19 and U17 confiscating wages and food money from young players.
According to the leader of this department, up to now, the police are still actively investigating, and have not yet reached a final conclusion.
