Thai men's volleyball foreign players in the national championship

HOÀNG HUÊ |

Phase 1 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship has the appearance of many Thai foreign players in the men's event.

In contrast to the women's event with no Thai foreign players, in the men's event of the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, there were many hitters from the land of the Golden Temple. According to records, there are currently 3 Thai players who have reached agreements and signed contracts with the teams. All 3 athletes are now in Vietnam to gather and practice with the team.

For LPB Ninh Binh team, they will have the service of main striker Napadet Bhinijdee. This is a foreign player familiar to Vietnamese volleyball fans. Napadet is also the first foreign player to debut in the 2025 season after participating in the Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup 2025 in Ninh Binh. The Thai hitter is highly appreciated for her expertise and strong attacking ability.

With an impressive performance, Napadet Bhinijdee received the title of "Best attacking male player". This is the basis for LPB Ninh Binh to believe in their competitive opportunities in this year's tournament against their opponents.

Meanwhile, the defending national champion team Bien Phong continued to successfully hire hitter Jakkrit Thanomnoi. The Thai striker has received the trust of the army team for the third time. Thanomnoi will play alongside other quality names such as Ngoc Thuan, Dinh Van Duy, Van Hiep, Duy Tuyen, The Khai, Minh Duc... in the new season.

For the Long An men's team, they have brought in striker Anut Promchan to serve the first phase. The Thai hitter has joined the Western team to soon move to Dong Anh (Hanoi) to get acquainted with the field and weather.

The Thai men's foreign players coming to Vietnam to compete this time are all hitters of the Thai volleyball team. According to predictions, in phase 2 (October 2025), almost no Thai male players will come to Vietnam because at that time, the men's volleyball team from the land of the Golden Temple is preparing for the 33rd SEA Games (December). 2025) should minimize players playing abroad.

In the immediate future, the men's teams that have hired Thai foreign players have affirmed that they will make the most of the opportunity to achieve the best results in the first phase of the 2025 national championship before moving on to the next phase 2.

Other teams are also very active in adding foreign players.

The Cong Tan Cang is the only team in the men's event of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship to hire 2 foreign players to strengthen the squad. Those two names are Victor Ramon Andreu Flores and Alejandro Rodriguez Fuentes (Cuba). Both have very outstanding heights and play as a main striker.

Alejandro Rodriguez Fuentes is of outstanding height of up to 2m1, has a jump range of 3m78 and has competed in China before coming to Vietnam. Meanwhile, Victor Ramon Andreu Flores is a member of the Cuban youth men's volleyball team, which participated in the World Youth Championship. Therefore, this duo is expected to help The Cong Tan Cang make a difference in the upcoming tournament.

Because the national volleyball championship in Thailand has just ended on March 9, the Thai players are all ready to move to Vietnam to prepare for phase 1. Phase 1 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship will kick off at the Dong Anh District Gymnasium, Hanoi from March 22.
