Today, August 30th, the Vietnamese wrestling team including 7 players preparing for ASIAD 20 sets off for training in China.
Player Nguyen Thi My Trang is 1 of the 7 faces being trained this time.
The coaching staff has registered athletes to participate in ASIAD 20 to find opportunities to compete for medals.
This is the second time in her career that Nguyen Thi My Trang attended the Asian Games (ASIAD).
She competed in ASIAD 19 in 2023 in China but did not win a medal. This year, the athlete continued to be officially awarded a ticket to Japan to compete in ASIAD 20.

This is the first time My Linh has competed in this arena.
Last year, My Trang and My Linh both won gold medals in their respective categories at SEA Games 33 held in Thailand.
According to Lao Dong reporters' investigation, the Vietnamese wrestling team will train in China until ASIAD 20 opens, then will go to Japan to start competing.
