Assessing Nguyen Thi Oanh, Head of the High-Performance Sports Department (Department of Physical Education and Sports of Vietnam) - Mr. Hoang Quoc Vinh once affirmed that this is a female athlete who maintains high discipline in the Vietnamese Athletics Team. The 2026 Asian Indoor Athletics Championship is the first international program that she implements with the Vietnamese Athletics Team this year.
The opportunity for Oanh to participate in ASIAD 20 (September 2026) is still very high. The Vietnamese athletics team may participate in the 2026 Asian Cross-country Race and the 2026 Asian Half Marathon. These tournaments have Nguyen Thi Oanh's familiar content. However, the female athlete cautiously shared that she must focus on maintaining professional achievements to ensure the assigned tasks. "This year, I will also focus on my expertise for the 2026 National Sports Games. I am not allowed to lose focus," the female athlete once affirmed.

However, the decision who will be awarded a competition spot will be made after careful review. Whether Oanh will succeed at ASIAD 20 or not depends on her professional ability.
