Nguyen Van Duong (born in 1996) is the first boxer in Vietnamese boxing to qualify for the Olympics through the qualifying round. He received a ticket to the big festival thanks to the Bronze Medal at the 2020 Asian Championship. Before Nguyen Van Duong, Vietnamese boxing had Dang Hieu Hien and Do Tien Tuan participate in the Seoul Olympics in 1988.
