Every VTV Cup 2025 season, the nominations for the title of Miss Volleyball always receive the attention of fans. The female athletes nominated gathered elements of beauty, expertise and skills.
This year, 16 selected candidates include Nguyen Thi Phuong, Tran Thi Bich Thuy (Vietnam team); Pham Quynh Huong, Nguyen Lan Vy (U21 Vietnam); Wang Sijia, Wang Yuqing (Tu Xuyen - China); Polina Sarapova, Varvara Filippova (Korabelka); Liao Yi-jen, Chen Chieh (Taiwan - China); Jesse Mann, Mali Towers (Australia); seriously seriously contributing, Jane Leila Cruz (Philippines); Kanchana Sisakeo, Nannaphat Moonjakham (U21 Thailand).
Looking back at 8 VTV Cups over the past 10 years, Vietnamese women's volleyball has 4 athletes voted Miss of the tournament.
In 2014, middle blocker Le Thanh Thuy was Miss VTV Cup when she was only 17 years old. A year later, her senior Nguyen Linh Chi excelled over other candidates to win this position.
In the 2018 season, the Volleyball Miss belonged to Dang Thi Kim Thanh. At that time, the female player of VTV Binh Dien Long An received great affection from the audience.
The first time Vietnamese volleyball won the Miss VTV Cup title was in the 2023 tournament with the coronation of opposite setter Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh.
The common point of Miss Vietnam is that they all have elegant faces, white skin and charming smiles. While Thanh Thuy and Linh Chi show a slightly strong, beautiful personality, Kim Thanh and Kieu Trinh are gentler and more feminine.
In 2024, Miss VTV belonged to Palshina of Korabelka club. Therefore, fans expect the Vietnamese representative to win this title this season.
According to Journalist Phan Ngoc Tien - Head of the Sports Department of Vietnam Television, Head of the Organizing Committee of VTV Cup 2025, the criteria for the Organizing Committee to select the Miss is a player with good expertise, competing regularly, and possessing a lovely and graceful face.
