Mobilizing nearly 200 officers and soldiers to put out the fire at a 5,000 m2 warehouse in Ho Chi Minh City

HCMC - The fire at a warehouse in Binh Hung commune, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of HCMC Police (PC07) mobilized nearly 200 soldiers to the scene to rescue.

According to PC07, at more than 4:30 a.m. on July 3, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Fire Prevention and Rescue Command Center received a report from local residents about a fire on Pham Hung Street, Binh Hung Commune.

Immediately after receiving the information, the authorities mobilized a total of 29 specialized vehicles along with 192 officers and soldiers from the fire fighting teams of regions 1, 7, 8, 20, team 3 and the elite special forces group to the scene.

Firefighting forces deployed 4 directions to isolate the fire. Accordingly, at the scene, 12 A blades, 12 B blades and 4 foam spraying blades were deployed to handle areas at risk of spreading fire.

The direct fire fighting commanders at the scene included Major General Nguyen Thanh Huong - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police, Colonel Tran Van Hieu - Head of PC07 Department...

When the authorities arrived, the fire grew and collapsed part of the warehouse wall. Immediately, professional fire fighting measures were deployed to control the situation.

The fire was isolated at 6:20 and extinguished at nearly 9:00 a.m. the same day. No human casualties were recorded in the fire.

The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified.
