Ha Hoa Tien University (Duy Tien town, old Ha Nam province, now new Ninh Binh province) is located in a prime location, right next to National Highway 1A, about 50km from Hanoi.
According to the introduction on the website of Ha Hoa Tien University, the school is planned into 5 large areas, including: 7-storey headquarters area; lecture area; dormitory area, cafeteria, commercial and service center to meet the needs of meals, accommodation, shopping for students, staff, lecturers; internship area and physical education area.
However, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the school area is overgrown with grass, and many houses inside are in a state of disrepair.
Local people said that when it was first established, the school had students, but for many years now, the school has been deserted, with closed doors and fences, and grass growing around it.
Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training issued a decision on suspending training activities of higher education levels for Ha Hoa Tien University. This is a private university, located in the old Ha Nam province.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the suspension is due to Ha Hoa Tien University violating Government regulations on investment and operation in the field of education.
The suspension period is 12 months from the effective date of this Decision (June 17, 2025).
During the suspension period, Ha Hoa Tien University is responsible for promptly completing the conditions to be allowed to conduct training activities according to the provisions of current law, periodically 3 months from the effective date of this decision, and reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training on the implementation results.
In addition, Ha Hoa Tien University has measures to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of learners, teachers, managers and staff of the school.
