The coaching staff of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team is training the players in Dong Anh (Hanoi) to be ready to compete in the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026.
In the latest change, middle blocker Nguyen Phuong Quynh has asked to withdraw from participating in the tournament in Dong Anh (Hanoi) this time for family reasons.
Her proposal was agreed upon by head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet.
Phuong Quynh is 1 of 14 players who have been registered by the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team to participate in the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026.
However, we still managed to add Luu Thi Hue to replace Nguyen Phuong Quynh.
Currently, middle blocker Luu Thi Hue has arrived in Dong Anh (Hanoi) to train with her teammates. This hitter has participated in SEA Games 33 and won a silver medal with the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
The first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 tournament includes 4 competing teams: Vietnam (host), Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines. The competition program takes place from July 31 to August 2.
At this point, the list of 14 female players of Vietnam who will be registered to compete in the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 includes: Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Vi Thi Yen Nhi, Nguyen Thi Tra My, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Nguyen Huynh Phuong Thuy, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Bui Thi Anh Thao, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Le Nhu Anh, Le Thanh Thuy, Luu Thi Hue, Nguyen Khanh Dang and Ca Thi Tu.
Main attacker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is the captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
