After the final match and winning the championship of the 2nd leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 tournament on the evening of July 26, members of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team had a short break.
The Vietnamese men's volleyball team will continue training at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center in the near future.
At the 2 legs of the SEA V.Cup 2026 Tournament held in the Philippines and Indonesia respectively, coach Federico Rampazzo registered 14 official players for each leg to participate.
2 players who were not registered to participate in SEA V.Cup 2026 are Tran Thanh Nhan, Dao Xuan Viet.
Currently, the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team is still training 19 players according to the decision of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports, including Dinh Van Duy, Tran Hoai Phuong, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, Duong Van Tien, Tang Ngoc Hieu, Tran Minh Duc, Bui Xuan Tien, Pham Quoc Du, Dinh Van Phuong, Tran Duy Tuyen, Truong The Khai, Pham Thanh Tung, Trinh Duy Phuc, Cao Duc Hoang, Tran Anh Tu, Phan Cong Duc, Ly Van Chuong, Tran Thanh Nhan, Dao Xuan Viet.
At the end of the SEA V.Cup 2026 tournament, 19 players will practice professionally until the coaching staff shortens the list of official squads for ASIAD 20 in September in Japan.
In the 2nd leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 Championship, in addition to the championship, Vietnamese men's volleyball has 2 players honored to receive individual titles: Nguyen Ngoc Thuan (Best Main Scorer, Best Comprehensive Player), Tran Duy Tuyen (Best Middle Scorer).
They continue to train at the National Senior Athlete Training Center after returning from Indonesia.
