On the afternoon of August 12, PVF-CAND club held a launching ceremony to participate in the V.League and National Cup for the 2025-2026 season.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Le Van - Chairman of PVF-CAND Club - shared: "In the past season, in addition to efforts in professional tournaments, PVF Training Center has achieved many remarkable achievements such as the National U15, U19, U21 championship... at the same time, there were 3 players with U23 Vietnam winning the Southeast Asian U23 championship.
PVF CAND is the only unit in the Vietnamese football system with 2 teams in the 2025-2026 national professional season, the national championship and the national First Division.
Participating in this year's V.League is quite urgent, only 8 days, but with the attention and close direction of the Minister, the team has urgently prepared to ensure the competition team achieves the best results.
The upcoming season promises many challenges, but I believe that, with careful preparation, PVF-CAND will play football with a spirit of effort, each player will take the field with a passionate heart, bringing the most attractive matches. I promise that the team will aim for a successful season, compete with all their might, and maintain a noble sportsmanship".
In V.League 2025-2026, coach Thach Bao Khanh will continue to lead PVF-CAND club. In addition to the pillars Phi Minh Long, Huynh Cong Den, Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Huy Hung... the team also recruited many new players such as Do Sy Huy, Doan Anh Viet, Do Van Thuan, Phu Trung Phong... as well as strikers Hoang Vu Samson, Mpande, Eyenga Alain....
Coach Thach Bao Khanh said: "A new season opens up new opportunities, but also poses great challenges. With only nearly 3 weeks of preparation, we have been carefully prepared both physically, tactically and mentally.
Our goal is not only to win, but also to bring beautiful matches, fair-play and dedication, worthy of the fans' affection for the team.
I believe that, with the spirit of solidarity - discipline - determination, we will overcome all difficulties, take advantage of all opportunities to move forward. I hope the players will play with a hot heart and a cold head, burning themselves out for the shirt color and for those who are putting their trust in us".
In the opening match of V.League 2025-2026, PVF-CAND club will host Song Lam Nghe An at home on August 17.
