The Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports will send female 4x400m athletes to France for training from the beginning of September 2025.
It is expected that the four players going to France include Quach Thi Lan, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh, Nguyen Thi Hang, Nguyen Thi Ngoc.
The training program is implemented under a cooperation agreement on the field of sports between the Vietnam - France Friendship and Cooperation Association and the Francophone Community Sports Association and the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports (signed on May 26, in Hanoi).
In the immediate future, the women's 4x400m relay team will practice for more than a month to continue improving their professional qualifications towards winning the 33rd SEA Games medal in Thailand. The further goal is the team to achieve the highest results at the 20th ASIAD in 2026 in Japan.
Four female 4x400m athletes have just participated in the 2025 National Athletics Championship in Da Nang and the 2025 National Supplemental Athletics Championship in Quang Ngai. Each person won medals for their own management unit.
Four athletes Quach Thi Lan, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh, Nguyen Thi Hang, Nguyen Thi Ngoc set a national record in the women's 4x400m relay event with the result of 3 minutes 30 seconds 81 at the first Asian Relay Athletics Championship in 2024.
Last May, they won the silver medal at the 2025 Asian Athletics Championship with a time of 3 minutes 34 seconds 77.
We won the gold medal in this event at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia with a time of 3 minutes 33 seconds 05". The players competing in Cambodia include Hoang Thi Minh Hanh, Nguyen Thi Hang, Nguyen Thi Ngoc and Nguyen Thi Huyen. At this time, former national player Nguyen Thi Huyen has retired.
