Attractive title fight
Good news for domestic martial arts fans is that on May 2nd, the prestigious boxing event named Ho Tram Power Clash will be officially held at the high-class resort The Grand Ho Tram, Ho Tram commune (HCMC) with the highlight being the attractive title fight.
The event was organized by Cocky Buffalo - a martial artist training company, organizing professional martial arts events in Vietnam in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Boxing Federation (HBF), the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and The Grand Ho Tram.
There will be a total of 7 matches, gathering 14 talented boxers from host Vietnam and countries with developed boxing such as China, South Korea, Thailand, Philippines... In which, the highlight of the event will be the WBO Super Lightweight Youth Title Asia – Pacific title match in the 63.5kg weight class between Balihenbieke (China) and Romer Pinili (Philippines).
Experts assess this as an unpredictable and balanced match. Because Balihenbieke (22 years old), possessing a height of 1.80m and peak form when winning all 7 matches in the professional arena, including 5 knockouts of opponents. On the other side, Romer Pinili (25 years old) is inferior in height (1.74m) and arm span but has extensive experience with 14 fights, including 9 wins, 7 knockouts.
3 Vietnamese boxers on the ring
Ho Tram Power Clash promises to be a martial arts feast for Vietnamese fans when up to 3 talented home fighters will take the ring.
Pham Huu Thuong, a talented boxer from Cocky Buffalo, who has impressed at international boxing events, will face Chinese boxer Jimo Yipo in the 52kg weight class.
Another boxer who also has a lot of experience in the professional arena, Thai Hoang Huy (5 wins, 3 losses) will compete with Rakmit Assada (Thailand). This promises to be a difficult challenge for Hoang Huy as his opponent has superior experience with nearly 20 fights on the ring. The remaining name of Vietnam, Nguyen Hung Giao, will face Sim Yong-ho (Korea).
In the remaining 3 matches, Sim Hyo-chan (Korea) faces Zheng Tao (China). Song Sanghyeon (Korea) pits Xu Zhoufeng (China) and Li Jiaming (China) against Kang Jongseon (Korea).
