Mr. Pham Quang Long was elected as the new President of the Vietnam Boxing Federation

The Vietnam Boxing Federation has elected Mr. Pham Quang Long to take on the role of Chairman.

On April 16, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Boxing Federation worked to agree on the election of personnel for the position of President for term 2 (2023-2028).

The votes unanimously elected Mr. Pham Quang Long - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam International Schools IVS system, Vice President in charge of Foreign Communications of the Vietnam Boxing Federation - to take on the role of Chairman.

Previously, the President of the Federation was Mr. Luu Tu Bao. However, Mr. Luu Tu Bao has been absent from many activities of the Vietnam Boxing Federation in recent times.

At the same time, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Boxing Federation unanimously approved the removal of Mr. Luu Tu Bao from the position of Chairman for personal reasons.

New Chairman Pham Quang Long of Vietnamese boxing expressed: "The Vietnam Boxing Federation will focus on improving the quality of the training, competition and management system, aiming to improve the performance of the Vietnamese boxing team in major arenas including ASIAD and Olympics.

This is a key stage for Vietnamese boxing to transform strongly, not only in competition achievements but also in organizational capacity, management and international integration ability”.

This year, the Vietnamese boxing team will have an important task of competing in ASIAD 20 in Japan and aiming to achieve the best results in this arena.
