Thai Olympic Committee President Pimol Srivikorn is very pleased with the achievements of Thai women's volleyball. He emphasized that this brings Thailand another sport to compete for medals at the Olympics, besides weightlifting, taekwondo and boxing.
Based on their performance at the Asian Championship, where they defeated both Japan and China, ranking 6th and 7th in the world respectively, and with a serious and continuous training process, the Thai women's volleyball team is confident that they will bring home medals at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Moreover, Mr. Pimol believes that this success will help revive volleyball in Thailand, contributing to attracting more fans to stadiums. This also refutes the notion that Thai athletes are only good at individual sports, because the Thai women's volleyball team has proven that they can work in groups, strategize and achieve world-class results.

At the Olympics in Los Angeles, 12 volleyball teams will compete for medals.
With the victory at the Asian Championship in China, the Thai women's volleyball team has also climbed three places, rising to 14th place in the world rankings.
