Vietnamese e-sports honors outstanding collectives and individuals

Vietnam Electronic Sports Entertainment Association (VIRESA) organizes "Hall of Fame 2026" to honor 106 athletes and outstanding individuals and teams.

On March 18, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking, the Vietnam Electronic Sports and Entertainment Association (VIRESA) organized the event "Hall of Fame - Vinh Quang Hall 2026" to honor individuals, collectives and partners who have made outstanding contributions to electronic sports and digital physical sports in Vietnam.

The event attracted more than 350 delegates from state management agencies, sports organizations, business publishers, along with athletes and coaches. This is an annual activity, and also a milestone recognizing the development and professionalization of Vietnamese e-sports.

At the program, VIRESA awarded class to 106 e-sports champions, awarded 98 certificates of national athlete and coach, and 57 certificates of merit to individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements.

In particular, 13 athletes and coaches were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, and 5 athletes were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Through honoring activities, the Organizing Committee also acknowledged and expressed gratitude to 26 businesses and partners who have accompanied and contributed to building and developing the e-sports ecosystem of Vietnam.

The highlight of the event is the Vietnam Esports Awards 2025 with 17 typical honoring categories including, such as typical national team coach, e-sports team of the year, promising club...

At the recent SEA Games 33, the Vietnamese e-sports team played excellently, winning 2 gold medals in the Lien Quan Mobile event and 1 silver medal in the FC Online event.

The honoring results show that Vietnamese e-sports is developing comprehensively, not only in competition achievements but also in the ecosystem including training, organization, media and strategic companion businesses such as VNG Games, VTC Intecom, VTC Online...

In addition, the organization at Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking shows the orientation of linking e-sports and education, contributing to the development of human resources for the digital economy.

Hall of Fame - Vinh Quang Hall will continue to be maintained as an annual honoring activity, contributing to recognizing achievements and promoting the sustainable development of Vietnamese e-sports entertainment. Hall of Fame 2026 closes, but at the same time opens a new journey, towards higher goals, thereby continuing to affirm the position of Vietnamese e-sports on the world map.
