On the evening of September 24, at Military Region 7 Gymnasium (HCMC), the 2025 10-Ball Men's World Championship (2025 Predator WPA Men's 10-Ball World Championship) continued to hold matches in the losing branch to determine the last 16 players to participate in the Last 32 direct qualifying round.
Vietnam has a representative, Pham Phuong Nam. He faced Moritz Neuhausen (Germany) but could not create a surprise and quickly lost 2 sets with a score of 1-4. This defeat caused Nam to stop, leaving Duong Quoc Hoang as the only hope for Vietnamese billiards in the knockout round.

Reigning champion Carlo Biado (Philippines) promptly returned after defeating Ko Ping Chung (Taiwan (China)), when defeating Denis Grabe (estonia) 2-0. Naoyuki Oi (Japan) - the opponent who lost to Duong Quoc Hoang also qualified for the next round after the victory over Kledio Kaci (Albania). Other strong players such as AJ Manas, Robbie Capito and Joshua Filler all maintained a stable performance to participate in the Last 32 round.
The Last 32 matches will take place at 11:00 and 16:00 today (September 25). The highlight is the confrontation between Duong Quoc Hoang and Joshua Filler at 4:00 p.m. on TV1 table. This promises to be a big challenge for the number 1 player in Vietnam.

Joshua Filler, born in 1997, is Germany's number 1 player and has been known as the "goddess of billiards" with a series of major titles since he was very young. He won the world 9-cushion championship in 2018, won the pool gold medal at the 2022 World Games, and won the Euro Tour, US Open and Masters many times.
