Tra Vinh organizes a professional marathon for the first time

The Aikya Cross Country Marathon Tra Vinh 2025 will officially start on April 12 and 13, 2025 in Tra Vinh city (Tra Vinh province).

The Aikya Cross Country Marathon Tra Vinh 2025 is held with the message "energy of Harmony - Energy of harmony".

This is the first professional marathon in Tra Vinh, directed by the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province, jointly organized by the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Tra Vinh, Aikya Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Nexus Sport Events. The race is expected to attract nearly 3,000 athletes from all over to participate.

The race has 4 distances including 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km, giving athletes the opportunity to experience the unique " dong bamboo" route, passing through the unique natural and Khmer culture. From lush rice fields, winding rivers, to ancient Khmer pagodas, Tra Vinh appears as a peaceful, vibrant picture.

Carefully designed, the running track ensures safety and maximum support for athletes. Water stations, health stations, and enthusiastic volunteers will accompany the entire competition.

The tournament is also an opportunity to explore historical sites such as the more than 1,000-year-old Ang Pagoda, Ba Om pond...

The Aikya Cross Country Marathon Tra Vinh 2025 event is held on the occasion of the Chol Chanh Cloud Festival of the Khmer people, creating an opportunity for athletes to experience the unique festive atmosphere.

The race is not only a sporting event, but also an opportunity to promote Tra Vinh's culture and tourism, affirming the locality's position in the eyes of tourists and the sports community.
