Pre-match information
The Vietnam men's volleyball team has officially qualified for the semi-finals of the 33rd SEA Games after the first two matches.
Coach Tran Dinh Tien and his team won against Laos and Singapore with the same score of 3-0. These are not too strong, so Vietnam quickly resolved the match to regain strength for the most important match in the group against Thailand.
The match against the home team will decide the first and second place in Group B. Ngoc Thuan and his teammates aim for a favorable result to be able to meet a "lightner" opponent in the semi-finals.
However, Thailand is not an easy team to bully. Although somewhat weaker than they have been before, the host is still the leading candidate for the SEA Games 33 gold medal.
