Today, (December 17), the Vietnamese sports delegation entered a vibrant competition day at the 33rd SEA Games, a series of finals and key matches with strong opponents in the region.
The highlight of the day was the women's football final taking place at 7:30 p.m., when the Vietnam women's team faced the Philippines. Meanwhile, Vietnamese volleyball also entered two important finals against Thailand. The women's team will take the field at 2:00 p.m., while the men's team will compete at 4:00 p.m., with the goal of bringing home gold medals.
In men's futsal, the Vietnam team will face Thailand at 4:00 p.m. In addition, martial arts also promise to bring results to the group when pencak silat organizes the 4th weight class finals from 10:00 a.m., muay holds the 7th weight class finals in the early afternoon, while boxing enters the semi-finals.
Archery is another notable sport with two finals against Thailand and Indonesia. Meanwhile, rowing, shooting, classic items, dumbbells, bicycles and swords all have important events. Domestic team sports such as men's, women's and table tennis also entered the quarter-finals.
