From early morning, more than 21,000 participants enthusiastically participated in the race with 4 distances recorded at 42 km, 21 km, 9.2 km and 2.9 km. In particular, the 2.9km distance is aimed at the 80th anniversary of National Day and is opened to encourage families with young children to participate.

This event is also an opportunity for the younger generation to review the 50-year journey of building and developing the country, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and development aspiration of the Vietnamese people in the new era".

With the technical support of the United Nations Development Program - UNDP, through the National Action Program on Plastic in Vietnam (NPAP), each step not only contributes to health training, but also demonstrates responsibility for the green future of the planet and for a green Vietnam.
Through the race, the Organizing Committee called on the community to join hands to act for a Vietnam with a clean, safe and sustainable living environment, contributing to the international community in solving the problem of environmental pollution caused by plastic waste.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy My (Hanoi) feels proud after completing the 2.9km distance. "I feel extremely proud to have achieved today's goal. Seeing everyone excited and everyone wearing red shirts with yellow stars gives me more strength," Ms. My shared.
