According to the professional program, members of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team begin gathering to enter training at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center.
The training program takes place from May 18 to October 5.
At the first gathering this year, 18 players were summoned including: Dinh Van Duy, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, Tran Minh Duc, Tran Duy Tuyen, Truong The Khai, Pham Quoc Du, Bui Xuan Tien, Tran Hoai Phuong, Tran Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Van Quoc Duy, Phan Cong Duc, Cao Duc Hoang, Pham Thanh Tung, Trinh Duy Phuc, Tran Anh Tu, Ly Van Chuong, Dao Xuan Viet and Tang Ngoc Hieu.
This is the first training program of the Vietnamese men's volleyball team since SEA Games 33 in Thailand.
This year, it is expected that the players will have the opportunity to compete in 2 international tournaments, SEA V.League 2026 and ASIAD 20.
Through research, the current list of 18 players is not the final force of the Vietnamese men's volleyball team this year. In some training stages, the coaching staff may add more players to suit the preparation.
This year, the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team is being planned by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation to hire experts as head coaches.
The head coach will be announced after the signing procedures are officially carried out. Currently, the coaches participating in the coaching staff are Le Quang Khanh, Nguyen Dinh Lap, Phan Van Nghiep.
