Vietnam men's volleyball team will gather from May 18

In this gathering, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team will have 18 faces to prepare for international tournaments in 2026.

The Vietnam Volleyball Federation has completed the list for the gathering of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team in the first phase of 2026.

The list of 18 faces trained this time includes Dinh Van Duy, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, Tran Minh Duc, Tran Duy Tuyen, Truong The Khai, Pham Quoc Du, Bui Xuan Tien, Tran Hoai Phuong, Tran Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Van Quoc Duy, Tran Anh Tu, Trinh Duy Phuc, Ly Van Chuong, Dao Xuan Viet, Tang Ngoc Hieu, Phan Cong Duc, Cao Duc Hoang, Pham Thanh Tung.

The players will train at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center from May 18.

This year, the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will hire experts as head coaches of the national team. Therefore, the training program is predicted to have many positive professional signals for the players.

This year, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team will compete in the SEA V.League 2026 tournament. In addition, we also participate in ASIAD 20. Therefore, the training program will be ensured to be suitable for each professional competition stage.

The last time the Vietnamese men's volleyball team competed internationally was SEA Games 33 in Thailand in 2025. Compared to the 14-man squad participating in SEA Games 33 at that time, the list of 18 players gathered this time has many changes.

Currently, the coaching staff of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team includes coaches Nguyen Dinh Lap, Phan Van Nghiep, Le Quang Khanh.
