According to Lao Dong's investigation, procedures to sign a contract with the head coach of the Vietnamese men's volleyball team are being actively implemented.
The expert's contract will be signed when the dossier procedures are completed according to regulations.
Expert Federico Rampazzo (Italy) has been selected by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and proposed to the Department of Physical Education and Sports to approve the signing of a working contract.
The Vietnamese men's volleyball team will start gathering on May 18 at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center.
The training list includes 3 coaches (Nguyen Dinh Lap, Phan Van Nghiep, Le Quang Khanh) and 18 players (Dinh Van Duy, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, Tran Minh Duc, Tran Duy Tuyen, Truong The Khai, Pham Quoc Du, Bui Xuan Tien, Tran Hoai Phuong, Tran Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Van Quoc Duy, Phan Cong Duc, Cao Duc Hoang, Pham Thanh Tung, Trinh Duy Phuc, Tran Anh Tu, Ly Van Chuong, Dao Xuan Viet, Tang Ngoc Hieu).
In the immediate future, domestic coaches are responsible for training to maintain physical strength for players of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team.
Professional lesson plans and training plans are fully assigned by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation to the head coach. When officially becoming the head coach, Mr. Federico Rampazzo will have many tasks to perform, including preparing to participate in SEA V.League 2026 and ASIAD 20.
