Pre-match information
According to the match schedule, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will have a match with the Kuanysh club (Kazakhstan) in the opening match of the international women's volleyball tournament VTV Cup 2024 .
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team have carefully prepared for this tournament, especially when the whole team has just gone through a series of matches at the SEA V.League and somehow maintained their form and physical strength.
The Vietnamese women's team still includes familiar faces such as Bich Tuyen, Tu Linh, Nguyen Trinh, Le Thanh Thuy, Khanh Dang, Lam Oanh, Kieu Trinh, Kim Thoa, Nhu Quynh or Tra Giang...
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team aims to successfully defend the championship. However, this will be a big challenge because the home team's first opponent is the Kuanysh club from Kazakhstan.
Kuanysh is one of the highly rated teams at this year's VTV Cup. They once won the runner-up position in the national championship; ranked 6th at the 2022-2023 World Club Championship; 3rd place in the national championship, champion of the Asian Club Cup for the 2023-2024 season.
Participating in the VTV Cup, coach Azamat Esimov brought 12 players to Vietnam, including: Farida Razamanova, Petya Barakova, Ayaulym Turdykhanova, Anastasia Kudryashova, Ekaterina Selezneva, Margarita Belchenko, Sana Anarkulova, Yuliya Dymar, Zhanna Syroyeshkina, Anastassiya Kolomoyets , Polina Ufimtseva and Sabira Bekisheva.
Among these, Sana Anarkulova is a familiar face to Vietnamese women's volleyball fans. She used to play for Thanh Hoa club and contributed greatly to helping the Thanh team play sublimated in the second round of last year's national championship.
With her understanding of Vietnamese women's volleyball, Anarkulova will definitely help Kuanysh cause many difficulties for Bich Tuyen and her teammates. The important thing is that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team needs to stay calm, careful and show their maximum ability.
