Vietnam women's volleyball team enters Shanghai Future Stars 2025 semi-finals

The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has won a ticket to the semi-finals of the Shanghai Future Stars 2025 international friendly tournament.

At noon on July 17, the Vietnam women's volleyball team faced U21 Canada in the quarter-finals of the Shanghai Future Stars 2025 international friendly tournament.

Before this match, coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa's students were rated higher than their opponents. As expected, the Vietnamese girl entered the match confidently, proactively attacking against an opponent from Europe.

In set 1, the Vietnam women's volleyball team faced a fierce chase from the Vietnam U21 girls. However, at the important moment, the players' bravery was spoken out for Vietnam to win 26-24.

Due to having lost their strength in set 1, U21 Canada played at a disadvantage compared to Vietnam in the following period. The better she played, Nguyen Thi Phuong and her teammates won both of the following sets, with scores of 25-13 and 25-16 respectively.

In the end, the Vietnam women's volleyball team defeated U21 Canada with a score of 3-0 to win the right to play in the semi-finals of the tournament.

It is likely that Nguyen Thi Phuong and her teammates will face the Netherlands U21 in the semi-finals. Because the European representative is rated higher than U21 France in the quarter-final match taking place at 6:00 p.m. today.
