The missing faces in the early stages of the training session have gathered with the Vietnam women's futsal team after the 2025 National Women's Football Cup ended on April 6.
The Vietnamese women's futsal team welcomes the return of the Golden Ball 2024 Tran Thi Thuy Trang. In the past year, Thuy Trang or teammates in Ho Chi Minh City such as K’Toc and Hong Nhung have achieved certain successes when the city team named Uncle Ho played impressively to be present in the semi-finals of the women's club championships Asian Clubs 2024-2025 and has just won the 2025 National Cup Women's Championship.
Sharing on the first day of focusing back with the Vietnam women's futsal team, Thuy Trang said: "It was a continuous luck for me. This is also a motivation, motivating me to contribute to the success of Vietnamese futsal. Recently, I competed with the HCMC women's team, returning to this gathering, I myself was a bit worried and bewildered. However, I believe my teammates will help me and aim for the highest achievement in the upcoming Asian women's futsal finals".
During the morning training session on April 9, head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his assistants practiced the whole team to get the feel of the ball with light exercises.
"In the training session this morning, the whole team had enough troops, the atmosphere of the training session was very fun and positive. The old group continued to improve the tactics and edit some errors. The new group of players focused on regaining the feeling of the ball and becoming familiar with the team's play.
The Vietnam women's futsal team will have more than 10 days to practice before leaving for training in Japan on April 20.
The team is expected to have 2 friendly matches on April 23 and 25, in which the friendly match with the Japanese women's futsal team will take place on April 25.
The team will finalize professional issues after the final friendly match with the Chinese women's futsal team, before officially entering the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship in early May.
