The final events of the 2026 Asian Youth Jujitsu Championship closed on the evening of July 16 local time in Kazakhstan.
In the final competition program, the young Vietnamese jujitsu martial artist completed the competition to win a total of 8 gold medals, 11 silver medals, and 9 bronze medals.
The Vietnamese youth jujitsu team ranked 4th in the overall medal standings.
The coaching staff of the Vietnamese Youth Jujitsu Team said that the 8 championships are the results of athletes: Vo Ngoc Bao (56kg men's Fighting, U16), Cai Hong Phuc/Nguyen Nhat Thien (men's Duo performance, U21) and Tho Liem/Trinh Thi Anh Thu (women's Duo performance, U18), Pham Tuong Vy (48kg women's Fighting, U21), Vuong Tran Hoai Thuong (52kg women's Fighting, U21), Tran Hong An (57kg women's Fighting, U21), Tran Thi Thanh Ha (52kg women's, U21), Nguyen Thu Hoai (70kg women's, U21).
In this year's tournament, the coaching staff of the Vietnamese Youth Jujitsu Team has registered 22 players to compete according to the contents in each regulated age group.
In the overall standings, the host Kazakhstan team won the No. 1 position with 49 gold medals, 44 silver medals, and 47 bronze medals.
Second place is the UAE youth jujitsu team with 15 gold medals, 9 silver medals, 16 bronze medals, and third place is the Thai youth team with 15 gold medals, 9 silver medals, 10 bronze medals.
Immediately after the 2026 Asian Youth Championship, the Vietnamese Jujitsu Team will continue to participate in the 2026 Asian Championship from July 17 to July 19.
We registered the main group of martial artists preparing for ASIAD 20 to compete in the 2026 Asian Championships (also taking place in Kazakhstan).
