Previously, karate was planned to be held in Songkhla province (Thailand), but due to the impact of weather in recent times, the Organizing Committee of Thailand is considering bringing this sport to Bangkok (Thailand) to compete. However, the decision was only specifically announced on November 28 after the 33rd SEA Games Assessment Conference.
Preparing for the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnam Karate Team registered 19 key players to compete. In which, we only participated in 2 events: kata teammates for men and women.
