Entering the second training week of the third training session in 2025, at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, the Vietnam women's team under the leadership of head coach Mai Duc Chung is maintaining physical improvement exercises combined with techniques and tactics, in order to best prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.
Coach Mai Duc Chung said that the national women's team is expected to have 2 friendly matches with the Ho Chi Minh City women's team (which are training at the Center to prepare for the 2025-2026 Asian Women's Club Championship) on November 1 and 4.
The weather in Hanoi in late October is quite favorable for training when the average temperature is about 20 degrees Celsius, helping the players maintain good physical condition and enthusiasm in each training session.

Sharing about this training session, defender Tran Thi Thu said: The trainingload is higher than the previous training session, so the physical and technical strength of the whole team has positive changes. Every day we have new, very interesting exercises.
Coach Mai Duc Chung emphasized that the team is in a difficult group, so the whole team must prepare carefully for the upcoming SEA Games. The young players adapt well, the opportunity is divided equally among everyone. Whoever tries their best can be selected to compete".
Meanwhile, young midfielder Ngoc Minh Chuyen shared: "I am 21 years old this year, I still need to learn more from my seniors. In the national team, we have been trained in physical strength, technique, and tactics very carefully.
Coach Mai Duc Chung always emphasizes that Southeast Asian players need to focus on physical strength and practice carefully to go further. I will try to adapt better to the intensity of professional competition to be able to contribute to the team in the coming time".

With a high focus and desire to show off, the Vietnamese women's team is gradually improving their physical strength and tactics, ready for the friendly matches in early November as well as towards the SEA Games and major goals in 2026.
According to the plan, the Vietnam women's team will have a training trip in Japan from November 20 to November 30. Before leaving, Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team plan to have 1-2 more practice matches to continue to improve.
