Vietnam women's team returns home, closing the journey of the 2026 Women's Asian Cup

On the afternoon of March 12, the Vietnamese women's team arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, closing their journey to participate in the 2026 Women's Asian Cup held in Australia.

The flight taking the team left Perth city at 10:10 am on March 12 (local time) and landed in Ho Chi Minh City at 4:30 pm on the same day (Vietnam time).

Before leaving Perth, the team received the attention and encouragement of representatives of the Vietnamese Consulate General in Perth and a large number of Vietnamese communities living in the locality to the airport to see off the delegation.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Consul General of Vietnam in Perth highly appreciated the fighting spirit and efforts of the Vietnamese women's team at the tournament. According to Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha, despite facing many strong opponents from the continent, the players still played with high determination and effort in each match, thereby contributing to spreading the positive image of Vietnamese women's football and strengthening the connection with the Vietnamese community in Australia.

After returning to Ho Chi Minh City, the team members said goodbye to return to their localities. The group of players and coaching staff members from the Northern region continued to connect flights to Hanoi, expected to land at 10:35 pm on the same day.

Closing the journey at the 2026 Asian Women's Football Championship finals, the players will return to their club to continue preparing for professional tasks in the near future.
