Two volleyball athletes of the Information Corps club, Doan Thi Lam Oanh and Pham Thi Nguyet Anh, have just completed their training program and officially received a bachelor's degree from Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports at the age of 27.
This event marks an important milestone in the parallel journey between high-achieving sports careers and studies of the two athletes born in 1998.
Pham Thi Nguyet Anh is currently the key attacker of the Information Corps. The volleyball beauty queen has made her mark in many major tournaments in the region and continent, with titles such as AVC Club championship, AVC Challenge Cup championship or SEA Games 32 silver medal.
At the age of 27, completing her university program shows Nguyet Anh's efforts to maintain her academic foundation, in the context of a tight schedule of competitions and training.
Meanwhile, Doan Thi Lam Oanh is the main setter of the Information Corps and the national women's team. Rarely appearing in front of the media about her private life, she focuses almost all her time on expertise and study.
At the end of 2023, Lam Oanh had a period of playing in Thailand in the colors of Supreme Chonburi E.Tech. This international competition experience helped the setter born in 1998 accumulate more experience, while improving her ability to adapt to high-intensity competition environments. Returning to Vietnam, she continued to play an important role in the club and national team squad.
At the national team level, Lam Oanh is an important link in the tactical system. In the past 2 years, she and her teammates have contributed to a series of notable achievements of Vietnamese women's volleyball such as many Asian championships, SEA V.League 2025 championships, silver medals at SEA Games 31, 32, 33 and participations in world tournaments.
