On the morning of January 9, in Khanh Hoa, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hung Phu 2 Social Housing Project took place, with a total investment of more than 1,445 billion VND, to meet the housing needs of workers, laborers and low-income people in the area.
The project is built on a land area of 6,895 m2, with a scale of 30 above-ground floors and 1 basement, providing 1,062 apartments.
In which, 80% are social housing apartments, the rest are arranged with service and utility items to ensure living conditions for residents.
According to the investor, the Hung Phu 2 Social Housing Project is synchronously planned with many amenities such as: commercial center, kindergarten, supermarket, community activity area, park and sports area, aiming to build a modern social housing area with full technical and social infrastructure.
The project is located in a residential area in the North of Nha Trang, near Vinh Hai market, Ponagar Tower, about 800 meters from the coast of Nha Trang Bay and Hon Chong scenic spot.
This area has the ability to conveniently connect traffic through Highway 2/4 (National Highway 1C), Xom Bong bridge and the North Nha Trang bus station, helping people easily move to the center and neighboring localities.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Lam Dong - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council said that this is not only an event of economic - construction significance, but also a milestone with profound humanistic value, showing the responsibility of the government and the business community for people's lives, especially vulnerable groups in society.
According to Mr. Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa is entering a new stage of development, with the goal of becoming a centrally-run city according to central resolutions.
This process will lead to a rapid increase in population and labor force, posing an urgent requirement to develop housing, especially social housing for workers, civil servants and laborers.
Therefore, each social housing project is not just a simple construction project, but also demonstrates the government's commitment to putting people at the center of the development process.
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council emphasized that the Hung Phu 2 Social Housing Project is a project to concretize the Housing Development Program of Khanh Hoa province for the period 2021-2030, which has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee and approved by the Provincial People's Council.
