Being led early, U19 Vietnam futsal quickly pushed up the squad to find an equalizer. In the 4th minute, Thac Hieu dribbled on the right wing and then shot powerfully, the ball touched Dafa's foot and changed direction into the net, helping the red shirt team equalize the score 1-1.
However, personal mistakes caused U19 Vietnam futsal to pay the price. In the 6th minute, goalkeeper Tuan Phong handled a foul in the attack, creating conditions for Ayyasy to easily score to increase the score to 2-1. Just one minute later, Riski launched a shot that touched the Vietnamese player and changed direction into the net, helping U19 Indonesia futsal increase the gap.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Anh's efforts were concretized in the 8th minute when Dai Hoc finished from close range from a free kick, narrowing the score to 2-3. However, U19 Indonesia futsal continued to show their ability to take advantage of opportunities effectively. In the 12th minute, Dafa cushioned the ball from close range, increasing the score to 4-2.
In the second half, U19 Vietnam futsal still proactively pushed up the squad to find an equalizer but encountered many difficulties against the opponent's solid defense.
In the 25th minute, Revian finished from close range after a well-organized combination, increasing the score to 5-2 for U19 Indonesia futsal. A minute later, Thac Hieu had a chance to narrow the gap but the shot hit the goal frame.
In the final minutes, coach Nguyen Tuan Anh used power-play tactics to increase the pressure. In the 34th minute, Quang Huy successfully finished, narrowing the score to 3-5.
However, playing power-play also caused U19 Vietnam futsal to reveal many gaps. In the 40th minute, U19 Indonesia futsal scored 2 more goals from long passes from goalkeeper Rochmatdhani, sealing a 7-3 victory.
With this result, U19 Vietnam futsal will play the third-place match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Futsal Championship on December 29.
