Right from the start of the match, U20 Thai Son Nam HCMC took the initiative, continuously creating pressure and breaking the deadlock in the 14th minute thanks to Tien Hung's goal. However, with only a few seconds left in the first half, Nhan Nam managed to equalize 1-1 for U20 Thai Son Bac, bringing the match back to balance.
Entering the second half, the tense scenario continued. Huu Bac helped U20 Thai Son Bac take a 2-1 lead in the 25th minute, but just a few seconds later, Hoang Phong immediately equalized 2-2 for U20 Thai Son Nam HCMC.
As the match gradually moved into the final minutes, Huu Bac once again shone with his second goal, sealing the score at 3-2 in the 38th minute. The subsequent efforts of U20 Thai Son Nam HCMC could not change the situation.
Previously, in the third-place match, U20 Saigon Titans beat U20 Tan Hiep Hung with a score of 2-1. The HCMC representative took an early 2-0 lead, allowing the opponent to shorten the gap but still maintained the victory.
At the end of the tournament, U20 Thai Son Bac won the championship, U20 Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City won the runner-up position, and U20 Saigon Titans won the bronze medal. Individual titles were also awarded to outstanding players: Nguyen Huu Bac (U20 Thai Son Bac) won a double for the title of Outstanding Player and King of the conceded goals with 12 goals; Hoang Tuan Phong (U20 Thai Son Bac) received the Award for Outstanding Goalkeeper.
