U23 Thailand started poorly and conceded a goal early in the 14th minute. From a ball loss by Thanakrit Chotmuangpak in midfield, Wu Chun Ming seized the opportunity to escape and finish. The ball touched the Thai defender and changed direction, making goalkeeper Sorawat unable to stop it.
Being led, U23 Thailand pushed up the squad to find an equalizer. After some missed opportunities, the Golden Temple team brought the match back to the starting line in the 39th minute. Thanakrit Chotmuangpak handled it in one go and then launched a shot from a distance of more than 30m, sending the ball into the top corner of the U23 Hong Kong (China) goal.
In the second half, U23 Thailand completely controlled the game and continuously put pressure on the opponent's defense. In the 53rd minute, Worawut Noisri broke into the center before creating conditions for Paripan Wongsa to finish from close range, increasing the score to 2-1.
Just 3 minutes later, U23 Thailand had their third goal. From Auttapon Sangtong's cross from the right wing, the U23 Hong Kong (China) goalkeeper rushed out to save, but the ball hit Tsang Yi Hang and went into the net.
In the 76th minute, U23 Thailand continued to widen the gap. Tsang Yi Hang missed a header after a long pass from the Thai defense, creating conditions for Jehhanafee Mamah to escape and easily put the ball into the empty net.
Not stopping there, U23 Thailand completed a 5-1 victory in the 84th minute. Worawut Noisri broke into the penalty area from the right wing and then finished into the near corner, defeating goalkeeper Chan Kun Sun.
With this victory, U23 Thailand has 6 points after two legs and creates a great advantage in the race to the quarter-finals of Group A.
