On May 9, the SUNRISE SPRINT Vietnam 2026 Tournament took place, bringing breakthrough competitions, spreading the spirit of endurance sports to the domestic and international athlete community.

SUNRISE SPRINT Vietnam is the third prize in short distance combining within the framework of the IRONMAN event week.
The race includes 750m swimming, 20km cycling and 5km jogging. This year's season recorded nearly 300 athletes participating in the competition. The race started and finished at Bien Dong Park.

From coastal cycling laps to races in the sunny space at the beginning of summer, SUNRISE SPRINT continues to bring an energetic sports experience, spreading the spirit of overcoming all challenges and affirming the dynamic vitality of Da Nang.
The special highlight of this season is the appearance of triathlon legend Mark Allen.
Six-time IRONMAN world champion, legend Mark Allen participated in the competition in Da Nang for the first time in the swimming section of the Team Support category, bringing great inspiration to the athlete community and endurance sports lovers.
In addition, the tournament also has the participation of Nguyen Thi Tra My (MyCa) - a prominent triathlon athlete of Vietnam and Sunrise Events Vietnam Ambassador - participating in the swimming event in the Team Support category.


This year's event also attracted many prominent faces in the sports community and dynamic lifestyle such as Kha Ngan and runner/trail runner Tran Hong Nhung.
As a result, in the men's overall event, 16-year-old athlete Hugo Tan from Malaysia excellently won the championship with a time of 1 hour 9 minutes 53 seconds, becoming one of the outstanding faces of this year's season.
Meanwhile, Emma Haywood from Australia won the women's championship with a time of 1 hour 13 minutes 9 seconds.
In the Men's Team Support category, Mark Allen and his teammates won the overall second place, closing their first time competing in Da Nang with many memorable highlights.
