On July 18, the first round of the 2026 National Youth Pickleball Championship will kick off in Da Nang city.
This year, the tournament continues to be organized by the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports.
More than 250 male and female tennis players have registered to compete in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles events.
The first round of the tournament takes place from July 18 to July 19.
Following that, Ho Chi Minh City will be the venue for the second round from July 24 to July 26.
The final round, round 3, of the tournament is held in Hanoi city from August 2 to August 4. This is also the round that decides the medals of the players.
The organizers of this year's tournament stipulate that each player can only register to compete for 1 management unit. The tournament does not distinguish professional qualifications of registered athletes.
The entire tournament will compete in the U11, U13, U15, U17, U19 groups.
According to forecasts by experts, young pickleball teams from Da Nang, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City, People's Police, Thai Nguyen... will have opportunities to achieve high results in competition.
Last year at the 2025 National Youth Pickleball Championship held in Hue city, the Organizing Committee recorded 300 players from many units across the country competing enthusiastically.
