On the afternoon of July 9, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association held a press conference to announce the 2026 World Entrepreneur Tournament award, within the framework of the Pickleball World Cup Edition.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Kien - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association said: "Pickleball is having a great spread in Vietnam in general and the business community in particular. This sport has special meaning, not only as a sport but also as a place to practice after working hours, a space for meetings and friendships of entrepreneurs.
Today, the organizers officially announced the 2026 World Entrepreneur Tournament. The tournament is an opportunity to affirm a new milestone, mature enough to connect with the international business community. We want to welcome international athletes to Vietnam to compete, exchange, connect; hoping to become an annual event of the international business community".
World Entrepreneur Tournament 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 2 to September 4, 2026 in Da Nang city. The tournament is expected to gather more than 1,600 entrepreneurs and athletes from Vietnam and 80 countries and territories.
Participants are pickleball athletes who meet the conditions of each competition content according to the regulations of the Organizing Committee, not required to be members of any Association, Federation or pickleball organization to be registered to participate in the tournament.
The tournament includes 26 doubles events, each pair including 2 athletes, including: Leadership content; Intermediate (women 2. 20 - 2. 70, men 2. 70 - 3. 30); Beginner content (women 1. 90 - < 2. 20, men 2. 40 - < 2. 70)...
Accordingly, each athlete is allowed to participate in no more than 2 events/day. The age of the athlete is determined according to the year the tournament takes place (Pickleball Years).
The total prize money of the World Entrepreneur Tournament 2026 is nearly 800 million VND.
